Celebrating the year of Dragon 2024!

On March 2nd, some young learners and I celebrated the year of Dragon together in the classroom. We made some crafts, played Chinese traditional instrument, sang Chinese songs, and talked about the story of Chinese new year. We also made dumplings and sweet rice dumplings (Tangyuan), and of course ate them! Kids received toys, gifts and red envelops(Hongbao). I wish we could light some firecrackers! Here are some photos. We missed some other awesome kids who don't live in Ottawa area. I was thinking of you all!
